There are times in our lives when we feel there is no way up or out. Illness. Poverty. Confusion.
Loneliness. Desperation. They take us to the place called “rock bottom.” In these times you may feel
weak and vulnerable, and it is easy to lose faith in your ability to go on. It is exactly in these times that
you must turn to the infinite power within yourself. You must know that the answer is exactly where
you are. The strength you need, the answer you want, and the solution that will turn the situation
around is you. If you can put aside the anger, fear, weakness and desperation for just a minute you will
remember the “other times” you were at the bottom and how in a moment, miraculously, you were
lifted up.
Faith is a key issue for Christians and the people of the early Church were simply called believers in
recognition of their great faith. We need to understand the distinctions of faith. Faith cannot alter
purpose: it only acts as an agent to assist in fulfilling the predetermined purpose of God. Faith becomes
the vehicle that enables us to persevere and delivers us through trials we face. Faith guards the purpose
of God. It will deliver us out of the hand of the enemy—the enemy being anything that hinders the
purpose of God in our lives.

Hebrews chapter 11 discusses the definition of faith. It then shares the deeds of faith in verses 32-35a,
and finally it discusses the perseverance of faith in verses 35b-39. There are distinctions of faith as
well. Hebrews 11:32-35a emphasizes the distinct faith that escapes peril and overcomes obstacles. .
Don’t ever forget that you are unique.
Be your best self and not an imitation of someone else.
Find your strengths and use them in a positive way.
Don’t listen to those who ridicule the choices you make.
Travel the road that you have chosen and don’t look back with regret.
You have to take chances to make your dreams happen.
Remember that there is plenty of time
to travel another road—and still another— in your journey through life.
Take the time to find the route that is right for you.
You will learn something valuable from every trip you take,
so don’t be  afraid to make mistakes.
Tell yourself that you’re okay just the way you are.
Make friends who respect your true self.
Take the time to be alone, too, so you can know just how terrific
your own company can be.
Remember that being alone doesn’t always mean being lonely;
it can be a beautiful experience of finding your creativity,
your heartfelt feelings, and the calm and quiet peace deep inside you.
Don’t every forget that you are special.
Hope For Every Moment
From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and
suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the
third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall
not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence
unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Matthew 16:21-23.
